Positive Steps

Positive Steps is a Community Options service commissioned by the London Borough of Bromley which supports, promotes and facilitates meaningful involvement of people with experience of mental health, across the Borough of Bromley.

The service is for people who have mental health experience, living in the community who:

  • Want to get involved;
  • Have something to say, a story to share;
  • Have ideas and opinions and want to be involved in the planning and delivery of local mental health services;
  • Wish to develop skills and increase their confidence to make informed choices and changes for the better;
  • Wish to start or join a service user led group.

It is also for organisations who:

  • Require support and advice in positive involvement.
  • Who need people who use services to be on recruitment panels and be part of their working groups.
