New Year – New Look website!

A very warm welcome to the New Year and our
New Look website!

We have been working alongside our Digital Marketing Agency – Frogbox, since late summer 2015 to bring you our new look and feel site.  It really is quite a transformation from our previous digital footprint and has given us the chance to really showcase what a fantastic organisation we are and the great work that we do.

Tracy Simpson, Director of Community Options said.
Working with Frogbox has been a real game changer. They encouraged us to take a giant leap of faith in terms of the creative look and feel of our website and the way in which we present ourselves to the world.

Our new site is built for the mobile device age and embraces the way we all now access the internet and websites.  It’s designed form the bottom up with a push and scroll format rather than point and click. We are absolutely delighted with the result and hope those that visit the site will be equally impressed.’

Davina, our Communications Executive would be delighted to hear your experience of using our new site so let us know:

  • How the site made you feel?
  • If you were able to find the information you needed easily ?
  • Whether you intend to visit us again!

Simply complete the message form on our Contact Us page with your comments.
There will be a small prize for the first three forms received with feedback!

Christmas Winter Ball 2015

Our Christmas Winter Ball was a jiving success on 4th December 2015.

We had over 100 guests who use our services attend this annual event.  Food was plentiful and the entertainment was varied.

A number of seasoned amateur service users entertained in our Open-mic event, with everyone enjoying some classic rock tunes.  This was followed by a seasonal sing-a-long with Harmony Singing Group, who helped get everyone in the Christmas mood.  Finally a team of free-style jive dancers from Orpington gave the party that ‘strictly’ feel and entertained with a host of exhibition dances, before encouraging service users and staff alike to take to the floor and ‘have-a-go’.

We had an amazing response to our call for raffle prizes this year with four tables being filled with goodies, including mobile phones, high-street shopping vouchers and toiletries. The Community Options Mangers clubbed together and gave away 6 seasonal Christmas Hampers of food and few guests left the event without a little something!

A huge shout-out and massive thanks go to all the staff, supporters and volunteers who gave up their time to make the event so very special.

Horse Leaze project celebrates

Horse Leaze celebrate Christmas & 25 years of Community Options service!

Staff and residents at our Horse Leaze project in Newham enjoyed a special celebration event just before Christmas.

Horse Leaze was decked out in silver baubles and festive decorations to get everyone in the party mood.  Some of the staff team even took the Christmas theme to heart and dressed in fancy dress for the whole day.

There was a great buffet on offer to everyone with of course some healthy eating choices as well as party games, music and dancing!
