Credo Cermaics – new shop window to the world

Credo works collaboratively with Outside In, to showcase peoples work

Outside In provides a platform for artists who see themselves as facing barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation.

Jennifer Gilbert manager of Outside In saw Credo’s participant’s works on display at Bethlem Gallery’s Christmas Fair in 2015 and was delighted by what she saw. Outside In contacted Credo and  invited participant’s to submit their work during a day surgery that was running at Bethlem Gallery.  Hanna Whitlock, Outside In coordinator offered to run a free workshop solely for Credo’s students and all they needed was access to a Wi-Fi and a reasonable size room with good lighting.

Thursday 24th November 2016, Hanna and Becky (volunteer) ran a one day workshop at Community Options’ Central Office in Bromley.

The workshop consisted of setting up individual participant’s’ webpages on the Outside In website so people could showcase, promote and sell their work.  They also trained the participant’s on how to manage and update their own webpages in future.

Thanks to the success of the workshop Outside In offered to run a second free workshop in 2017.
