The final integration took place between Heritage Care Limited and Community Options Limited on 1st October 2016.
Community Options & Heritage Care began the process of merging 5 years ago, sharing many corporate and business functions. Earlier this year the Trustee Boards of both Heritage Care and Community Options agreed that the time was right to consolidate the expertise and understanding across the two organisations and fully integrate.
Following a 3 month consultation period with Staff, Service User, Volunteer Friends and Family,
Commissioners, Unions and other partner organisations all formalities are now concluded.
Community Options is now a trading name of Heritage Care and will continue to deliver across the organisation specialist Mental Health services.
